The Master Class

THE ENTENTE CORDIALE DAY MASTER CLASS

Running from October to March, the Entente Cordiale Day Talks are a flagship series of high-impact events held across 12 university campuses in the UK and France, complementing the two main annual Entente Cordiale Day events: the Summit in April and the Alumni Meeting in July. Organised in collaboration with partnered student societies, the programme brings together students, experts, and world leaders through two complementary tracks. With a focus on innovation and youth engagement, the Talks provide a unique platform for sponsors to support cross-border academic excellence while gaining visibility among a highly engaged audience.

Gold and Platinum sponsorship packages provide prominent branding opportunities (including logo placement on event banners and official communications through website articles, Youtube recordings, and social media posts) across the full series of events within the track that aligns best with your organisation’s goals. These packages also offer the opportunity to co-create events tailored to highlight your organisation’s values, initiatives, and areas of expertise.

Track I: Franco-British Perspectives across Past, Present & Future

This track offers a rich journey through Franco-British history, culture, and current affairs, celebrating the deep connections and shared narratives between our two nations.

Expert Talks led by historians, journalists, artists, and diplomats explore key moments in Franco-British relations that continue to shape both nations today.

Cultural Events bring Franco-British culture, creativity, and diversity to life through film screenings, cultural tours, and exhibitions.

Media Labs give students the opportunity to craft poems, blogs, or short films exploring themes like identity, belonging, and Franco-British life guided by artists and writers.

Career Events connect students with cultural organisations and companies that thrive on multi-national cooperation, cultural management, and journalism.

Track II: Conflicts, Technologies, and World Security

This track will delve into the official 2025-2026 Entente Cordiale Day Challenge theme featuring expert talks, interactive workshops, and panel discussions.

Expert Talks bring global leaders together to explore defence, digital safety, public health, ecological stability, and protecting vulnerable populations through informed dialogue.

Panels Discussions offer interactive, multi-voice discussions where experts, practitioners, and students engage in lively debate.

Interactive Workshops put ideas into action by inviting students to collaborate, problem-solve, and develop practical skills through hands-on activities.

Careers Events introduce students to companies and professionals working in diplomacy, cybersecurity, environmental policy, public health, and human rights.
