Keeping the Entente Cordiale Alive

The Entente Cordiale, sealed between France and the United Kingdom in April 1904, has always been more than just a diplomatic agreement: it has been the foundation of cooperation and friendship between French and British civil societies for over 120 years.

All the students taking part in the Entente Cordiale University Challenge join a growing global network of alumni each year with common interests, ambition to build a better future and engagement to support each other.

The Entente Cordiale Day Alumni event planned to be held alternatively in the UK at the House of Lords and in France at the Senate offers a platform for alumni to reconnect, network, and celebrate Franco-British collaboration.

We are looking forward to the 1st Entente Cordiale Alumni Reception later this year at the House of Lords, under the aegis of Lord Soames of Fletching, grandson of Sir Winston Churchill, and on the topic of “London Olympics 2012 – Paris Olympics 2024: History Vision & Legacy”.

The Entente Cordiale Day Association will facilitate community building through
